I'm going to let you in on a secret:
Pain and Sufferage is not my real name.

Actually, I go by Silver when it comes to my music and I'm an aspiring singer/songwriter/music engineer. I love mixing music and last semester I created a few songs and put them up on myspace. I would be very much obliged if you checked them out and gave me your opinion.

That's the myspace. There are 4 songs up. Melody Boy and Fantasy are my songs (I wrote lyrics and sang, loops are made or found in Logic Pro for Mac). Melody Boy is my personal favorite. I'm planning on continuing my career in that direction. Fantasy is almost a joke song. I just had fun with mixing the atmosphere for it. And it's very long and over the top, I know. It also needs a bit of work... ok, a lot of work, but I'm not continuing it so I just want to hear what people think of the theme. Winter's Day is an interesting piece; initially I was only given the vocals from singer Shayna Goldstein. She let me run with the background music and I like the trance feel of it. Time to Go is remix of the song by the name by artist State Shirt. He put all the loops up online so that amateurs like yours truly can remix it and this is the piece that I and friend Genta Tamashiro came up with using only what he used. You can still hear the original on State Shirt's website. http://www.stateshirt.com/

So, yes, constructive criticism welcomed. And if you hate all of it, I'm ok with that. I've been taking criticism for 7 year so my skin's pretty thick but I would like to know what you didn't like.
Thanks!

I don't know if I'm the best person to judge this, but I like the sound of it

If you listen to music, you can judge.
Yeah, it's an opinion thing, but I've found that people and critics can agree- the only difference between the two is that professional critics will tell an artist, in detail, what they don't like. People sometimes can and other times they just get the feeling that it's crap.
Ultimately, I like hearing from both audiences and critics. Both have very important things to say.
